Functionality Limitations While a Barcode Filter is in Place

While your barcode filter is in place, Destiny cannot calculate and automatically assign barcode numbers to new copies.

The following features depend on this automatic calculation and are not available until your Destiny Administrator removes the barcode filter:

• Catalog > Add Copies: Adding multiple copies of a title at one time
• Catalog > Add Copies: Assigning barcode numbers
• Catalog > Title Details > Copies sub-tab: Removing barcode numbers
• Printing unused barcode labels (those not yet assigned to copies)
• Receiving all textbooks in a transfer (Textbook Manager only)

important: Follett strongly recommends that you conduct a complete inventory to reconstruct all the barcode numbers as quickly as possible.
